Glazer Capital is a New York City-based investment management firm that approached our agency in need of a new website with an entirely new look and feel. The firm had a background in traditional finance, but had expanded investments into services such as blockchain, so the new site needed to feel as though it belonged in both worlds, with a foot in the past, but looking toward the future. To communicate this message, I chose a highly-structured design where revealing the grid became an aesthetic choice, and balanced that with unusual, asymmetrical layouts. Ivy Presto was selected for the display typeface with its roots in old style serifs that combined with a high x-height and extreme contrast of stroke weights, gave it a modern edge.
